Noel and Sylvia Lister preferred teak panelling throughout but for a unique approach to this traditional style they commissioned Dutch designer Peter Sijm to create a high quality modern feeling throughout the yacht. Whirlwind XII completed her sailing trials in Holland two years after the design process started. She has successfully cruised the Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific during the last two years.
