Ron Holland has led Ron Holland Design for 40 years. His innovative designs have repeatedly shaken up the world of sailing. Today Ron is the world’s leading yacht designer and creator of a new generation of 100+ foot performance superyachts. His design for the 197 foot Perini Navi, Seahawk, was featured on the January 2015 cover of Architectural Digest as “The Sexiest Yacht in the World.” Ron’s newest superyacht and successor to Seahawk is the 197 foot Perini Navi, Perseus^3, launched in 2015.

Jeff Dorfman is Founder and Commodore of Rye Yacht Club in Rye, NY, a waterfront suburb of NYC. He is Publisher of SuperYachtDesigner.org and PowerBoatDesigner.org. Jeff was an early internet entrepreneur who was generating over 100 million ad impressions a year. He is a retired NYC doctor and professor. Jeff currently focuses on intellectual property and venture capital in Brickell, Miami.

Jeff has owned more than a half-dozen boats over 25-years. These include powerboats, a 23’ Seaward winged-keel sailboat, a motorized rowboat for exercise, and various dinghies. The powerboats owned include a 60 mph Formula speedboat, a classic Chris Craft 33’ Express Cruiser, one of the first new Azimuts entering the U.S. in 1999, and a meticulously restored 50’ Viking Princess motoryacht that he sold in 2020. The latter restoration got the attention & personal assistance of the President of Volvo Penta Americas.
