The launch is always fun. The clients and designers are mutually satisfied with their joint creation.

The town band warms up and the champagne is chilled. The atmosphere is one of excitement and anticipation. Usually the owner has invited some of his nonyachting friends aboard. I always love to see their expressions of amazement at what has been created as a result of the commitment to excellence in design,materials and craftsmanship.

In accordance with tradition a bottle of champagne is broken over the bow and the yacht gets an identity of her own. Now we all can see how she looks in her natural environment. The adventure of creating this beautiful vessel is over. A new adventure is about to begin.
